To create a family tree, we will collect the family register and trace the ancestors from the late Edo period to the Meiji era and create a family tree.
It may seem meaningless to know your ancestor's name or siblings, but it is inspiring to actually create a family tree. As a guideline, it is possible to check the family register up to about 200 years ago.
You can also find out the address before your family register changed, such as where your ancestors used to live, from the old family register.

Military certificate
If you want to find out about your ancestor's war records, you can find out what your ancestors were like at the time by requesting a military certificate. The military certificate shows the date, the unit to which he/she belonged, where he/she dispatched, class, information on injury and illness, and details on when and where he returned to Japan. You can only request a certificate of military history until your grandchildren who went to war. Grandchildren cannot request a military certificate, so we recommend that you request it early. If you are interested in finding out Grandpa's wartime information or giving parents a military certificate, you can get a proxy if you want.
